This Vintage Sterling Silver Native American Hopi bracelet is very traditional in design and technique. This cuff features the beloved kokopelli; a rain priest and fertility symbol. The technique used by Hopi artists utilizes two sheets of silver, laid one on top of the other. First the bottom sheet is etched and oxidized. Then the top layer is precision hand cut and soldered to the bottom sheet, it is then buffed and finished with super fine steel wool. This is an old item from the early 1990s, it vintage never worn.
